Steven Robison has lived in the St. Andrews area for 15 years and owns 13 dwellings that he rents to tenants. He says when he first moved into the neighborhood there was a problem with prostitution, but he says thanks to the Panama City Police the neighborhood has been cleaned up.
Panama City Police Captain Scott Ervin says they have been aware of the prostitution problem for years conducting 3 stings already this year with the most recent in July. He says they are doing all they can to clean up the neighborhood. Captain Ervin says the clean up effort is a partnership between the community and the police they rely on the community to tell them their concerns.
